Infrared saunas use panels that emit infrared radiation, usually in the far-infrared band. Far infrared is absorbed close to the skin, then heat moves farther through tissue by conduction and blood flow. It is not light traveling several inches into muscle. The air temperature is usually lower than in a traditional sauna, often around 100 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
The experience feels gentler. You are warm and may sweat, but the air is not as hot. Because radiant heat supplies more of the thermal load, some users find they can tolerate longer sessions and what got them to where they are.
Potential Benefits of Infrared sauna
• Relieves Stress and Tension
• Improves Recovery and Circulation
• Provides Temporary Pain Relief
• Increase resistance to Illness
• Weight loss
• Detoxification
• Helps lower blood pressure
• Helps with Cardiovascular health
Start your journey
Start slowly with one or two sauna session(s) per week. When entering the sauna, wear minimal clothing since infrared rays have difficulty penetrating clothing. Take at least two dry, clean towels inside the sauna with you, one to sit on and the other to wipe away perspiration. Adjust the timer to reflect a 15 to 20 minute session. Once you begin building a tolerance for the heat, you can gradually increase the time with future sessions.
Use your session to relax, meditate, and escape from your everyday stress. Enjoy the benefits of your infrared sauna as you detox your body through perspiration. Massage areas of the body that ache to relieve sore and tense muscles. From time to time, wipe off the excess perspiration to allow for more intense sweating. If at any time you feel dizzy, nauseous, or any discomfort, exit the sauna immediately.
After your sauna session is over, turn the power off and sit in the sauna with the door ajar for about 10 minutes and let your body adjust to the cooler air temperature. Although the sauna heat emitters are turned off, your body will still continue to perspire. Once your body has cooled down, you can exit the sauna. Rest at least 20 minutes before taking a warm shower to rinse off the perspiration from your body.

Red light packages available
Integrating red light therapy into massage sessions offers multiple advantages, from faster muscle recovery to enhanced skin health. Clients report noticeable improvements in relaxation and pain relief, making it a game-changer for wellness routines.
Red light therapy accelerates muscle recovery by reducing inflammation and clearing lactic acid buildup. When used before massage, it softens tense muscles, allowing therapists to work more effectively. This is ideal for athletes or those with active lifestyles.
By modulating pain signals, red light therapy reduces discomfort during and after massage. It’s particularly effective for chronic conditions like arthritis, enabling deeper tissue work without added strain. Clients experience longer-lasting relief from soreness.
Red light therapy promotes collagen production, improving skin elasticity and reducing fine lines. When paired with massage, it enhances topical product absorption, leaving skin radiant. It also helps treat conditions like acne by reducing inflammation.
The therapy triggers endorphin release, fostering a deeper sense of calm during massage. The gentle warmth of the light adds a soothing element, enhancing the meditative quality of the session. This leads to better sleep and reduced stress levels.
Individuals with photosensitive conditions or certain skin cancers should consult a doctor. Pregnant clients may also need to avoid it, though risks are minimal.
